Activities ISTA prides itself with providing its students a variety of activities which motivate and educate its members. Through a variety of experiences students learn about art, science, mathematics, graphic communications, history, engineering and technology. ISTA students participate in activities such as the Gutenberg Festival, HENAAC Conference, Viva Technology, a variety of professional club meetings and conferences, museums, plant tours, and the annual cultural diversity festival. This year academy students were priviledged to be included in the Raytheon "Cinco de Mayo" festivities and a day at the California Speedway hosted by the U.S. Coast Guard. The more experiences our students have, the more capable they are of connecting theory to practice. Books are one way to learn, but sometimes seeing is believing |
