PIASC Academic/Technical Decathlon Finals & Career Fair |

ISTA has qualified for the finals of the Printing Industries Association of Southern California Academic/Technical Decathlon. This years finalist include Garfield, Redondo, El Camino and Venice high schools. 84 academy students will be chosen to attend this event based on their academic achievement. This years finals team is composed of Yolanda Urbina, Jesse Fiorinni and Angelina Gonzalez. The academy has been victoious twice before in 1997 and in 2001.
The event will also have a career fair where students will be able to meet with college representatives as well as businesses. |

The annual printing trade show, the Gutenberg Festival is scheduled to take place at the Long Beach Convention Center on June 17th through the 19th. ISTA Students may attend this activity on thier own.
