The challenge of educating and preparing urban minority students to compete in the "Real World" is a job that one teacher or a group of teachers alone cannot tackle. It is becoming more difficult for teachers to compete for a students attention in the age of multi-media.

Since the formation and recognition of the academy, we have strived to make our students competitive. Whether it is going into the workforce or going to college we are confident that the product we have graduating from our academy is a good one. With close to a 100% retention rate among our students attending universities, we feel we are meeting the expectations of what an academy is supposed to achieve.

It is through the dedication, love and hard work of our academy teachers that we are able to make this possible. Our teachers find a way to come to the classroom with the energy and desire to assure student success. Education is a relationship between the teacher and the student. If the relationship is a poor one, the student will have a difficult time learning. The subjects we find ourselves most fond of as we grow older are not the ones that had the best materials, it is the ones that had the most interesting teachers. Any class can be interesting with the right teacher.

In our academy we are fortunate enough to have a support structure, a group of partners, that cares about our students success as much as we do. The reason we are successful is because we have partners who care. With the help of our partners anything is possible.
